Monty Python film night (and endless recitings of key sketches in the car henceforth, showing that all three children have indeed inherited their father's funny bone. Downsides: No-show of the Friday twilight market. Mt Coolum closed for construction work (climbing Mt Emu an inspired, but mediocre, substitute). Midgie bites even more itchy and painful and prolific.
